The ControlCore executive is a programming system for micro controller embedded data
acquisition and control applications. It provides a Windows based user
interface and embedded firmware executive software. The ControlCore system
allows a user to completely
configure, download, and monitor an arbitrary control algorithm inside a micro
controller based
communicating I/O device. It provides a visual, function-block oriented,
programming experience allowing Industrial Automation and/or HVAC professionals with no programming skills to
implement custom control strategies.

Try it out in simulation mode (no hardware required):

| Locate and double-click the installation file: ControlCoreSetupV192.exe. |
| Follow the installation instructions. |
| Start ControlCore from the Start menu. |
| Follow the QuickTutorial (available from the Help menu). |

| Download Temco's firmware upgrade utility: (ISP_Tool.msi). |
| Locate and double-click the installation file: ISP_Tool.msi. Follow
the installation instructions. |
| Upgrade the Tstat5 thermostats or the T3 modules with the ControlCore executive using
Temco's firmware upgrade utility (the ISP tool previously installed). |
| Open your ControlCore project and click on the project icon to select your
communication method (Local Comm Port if the device is attached to
the serial port of your computer or Remote Ethernet Gateway if you
communicate to your device through a Modbus Gateway). |
| Now you can download and actually run your control algorithms on your Tstat5
thermostats or T3 I/O modules. |
NOTE: Without an authorization key, the programmed thermostats
or I/O modules will time-out after 2 hours of continuous use. Re-powering the
device will reset the time-out period.
How to order:
| The ControlCore software downloaded from this site (GUI and Firmware) is complete and fully
functional, however, without an
authorization, the programmed devices will time-out after a 2-hour demo
period. For Tstat5 series thermostats, the message "t-o"
will be displayed. For T3 series I/O modules, the LEDs will start flashing
back and forth. In both cases, re-powering the device will reset the
time-out period. |
| In order to authorize your devices you will need a USB key along with the number of licenses
required (one license will unlock one device). Installing the key enables
the ControlCore "Authorize" feature. You will only need to purchase
one authorization key.
The number of licenses available on the key can be replenished at any time via
e-mail. |
| Optionally, Tsat5 thermostats preloaded with ControlCore firmware,
authorized with ControlCore licenses and bench tested before delivery are
available for purchase. |
